RewardRoots Premium is billed as a recurring monthly subscription.
This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel Premium, how to stop future renewals, and what happens after cancellation.
1. How to Cancel
You can cancel your RewardRoots Premium subscription at any time through the billing management tools provided in your account.
If your subscription was purchased through Stripe, use the Stripe billing portal linked from RewardRoots to manage or cancel your subscription.
To fully stop future renewals of Premium:
- sign in to your RewardRoots parent account
- open the billing controls available from your account, including the "Manage billing" or "Manage or cancel in Stripe" button when shown
- continue to the Stripe billing portal
- choose the option to cancel your subscription in Stripe
- review the cancellation details and confirm the cancellation in Stripe
Your cancellation is not complete until it has been confirmed in Stripe.
If Stripe shows that the subscription is set to end at the close of the current billing period, that means future renewals have been canceled successfully.
If you leave the Stripe billing portal before confirming cancellation, your subscription may remain active and continue to renew.
If you need help canceling, cannot access the billing portal, or believe cancellation did not go through, contact us at support@rewardroots.com.
2. What Happens After You Cancel
When you cancel, your subscription will remain active through the end of your current paid billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law.
After that billing period ends:
- your account will return to the Free plan
- Premium-only features will no longer be available
- your family data will remain in your account unless you separately request deletion
You may also see a cancellation-effective date in Stripe or in RewardRoots after the cancellation is processed.
That date reflects when Premium access ends and when your account continues on the Free plan.
3. Canceling Premium vs. Deleting Your Account
Canceling Premium stops future subscription renewals, but it does not delete your RewardRoots account.
If you cancel Premium:
- your parent account stays open
- your family data remains in RewardRoots unless you separately request deletion
- your account continues on the Free plan after the paid billing period ends
If you want your RewardRoots account or related family data deleted, please contact us at support@rewardroots.com. Account deletion is a separate request from subscription cancellation.
4. No Long-Term Contract
RewardRoots Premium is a month-to-month subscription.
There is no long-term commitment required to keep using the service.
5. Policy Updates
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time.
When we do, the Last Updated date above will change.
