Passkeys let you sign in faster and more securely using your device’s built-in security.

This can include:
  • Face ID
  • fingerprint
  • device PIN
  • screen lock

How to add a passkey:

  1. Open Account & Family.
  2. Find the Passkey section.
  3. Select Add passkey on this device.
  4. Follow your device prompts to confirm.
  5. Finish setup using your device’s secure sign-in method.

Once added, you can use that device to sign in faster without relying only on your password.

Why use a passkey:
  • faster sign-in
  • stronger protection
  • easier access on trusted devices

Tips:
  • Add passkeys only on devices you trust
  • Review saved passkeys from time to time
  • Remove old passkeys if you stop using a device
